quotes-newMatt,

8 years ago when you told me you were building bicycles, I immediately decided I had to have one. You are a perfectionist, and the most meticulous engineer I know; your bikes would have to be exquisite. Being involved in the design process was really cool. I was able to customize every detail of the bike, from components to paint to geometry–I was able to get exactly what I wanted! You personalized that first frame with a hand carved liberty bell lug containing my initials which was brazed onto the main pivot. This is truly a one-of-a-kind touch that is impossible to get with the big manufacturers. Your bikes are a beautiful mix of art and engineering.

So, I started with one of your bikes and then the quiver grew. In addition to the full suspension bike, I now have a carbon road bike, a TI cyclocross bike and a Sisu Hogsback custom steel rigid mountain bike. The Hogsback has been my primary race bike. The frame is forgiving enough for me to get away with forgoing a front fork and the weightlessness of the frame, and the whole setup, helped me win me a lot of races. I’ve raced the bike for 5 seasons and it still rides like the first day. I can’t believe it’s lasted that long through all the abuse my 190 pound body inflicts sans suspension.

I’ll be back for a fifth, if I can outlive the four Sisus I have now. Thanks for building such superb bikes.
